Financial Benchmarking Context
At Garratt Park School, our financial priorities reflect the specialist nature of our provision for students with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs. Benchmarking data should therefore be interpreted in light of our context: all members of the Senior Leadership Team have teaching commitments, our staffing profile includes higher levels of specialist and therapeutic support, and agency costs fluctuate in response to pupil needs. We have made good progress in reducing expenditure on utilities and supplies, and our support staffing costs remain broadly in line with similar schools. Investment in educational IT is a continued area for development to support curriculum access and inclusion.
