Speech and Language Therapy (SALT)
Speech and Language therapy is an integral part of Garratt Park School. Our team consists of three full time therapists who run social and communication groups weekly with every class. We also run individual sessions for those who need extra support. We aim to work closely with the Education Team to create a holistic programme for each child that is embedded into the curriculum. For many of the pupils, we focus on functional communication to support them to become more independent, particularly as they move up the school.
