Visit from photographer Nigel Davies

As part of their Arts Award 11ST had a visit from Nigel Davies, a professional photographer and Garratt Park parent.  Nigel talked with the pupils about his career, which has included covering Bill Clinton's election, photographing Prince Phillip and many marketing campaigns.  He gave the pupils an opportunity to use a zoom lens on his two cameras.  The pupils also experimented using lighting to create different portrait effects.  They found out that upper lighting gives a happier effect and lighting from below gives a more sinister effect.
