Refugee Week

During the week beginning June 19th, we joined with thousands of other groups around the country to celebrate Refugee Week.  On Monday we were visited by Kerry Coke from the Salvation Army, who talked about refugees in a whole school assembly.  For the remainder of the week pupils learnt about refugees in SMSC sessions looking at; Syria, the journeys that refugees take, refugee camps and finally what we can do to welcome refugees.
