Arts Award Oscars - 03/03/17

In Arts Award the year 10's have been doing a project on films.  They visited the cinema to review a film, designed movie posters and worked in small groups to make a movie trailer.

 To celebrate the end of the film project we had our very own version of the Oscars with all the year ten pupils together in the hall watching the different trailers.  Different pupils were then awarded Oscars for Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Picture.

The competition was judged by Wyatt Dixon, a local photographer and video maker.  Wyatt photographs rappers and grime artists and after the competition talked to the pupils about his career and showed some photographs.
