After School Clubs

Football Club, Mondays 3.30-4.30 Garratt Park School hall/astro

 

Football Club is open to students in years 7-9. Students receive coaching and play competitive games with their peers. Inter school fixtures are organised on a termly basis with sen students from Southfields Academy. Students must bring PE kit and shin pads to all after school football sessions.  

 

Cricket Club, Mondays 3.30-5.00 Burntwood School Gymnasium(Autumn and Spring Term) Spencer Cricket Club (Summer Term)

 

Cricket Club is open to students from all year groups. Cricket Club is run in conjunction with Surrey and Spencer Cricket Clubs and it is run by Alain Jason, an experienced cricket coach, from Spencer Cricket Club. Cricket club takes place at Burntwood School  Gymnasium during the autumn and spring terms. In the summer term cricket club takes place outside at Spencer Cricket Club. Students have the opportunity to represent the school at Surrey Super 1 competitions against students from other sen schools. There is a pathway available for talented students who can go on and represent Surrey Feathers 'Soft ball cricket team'

 

Athletics Club, Tuesdays 3.30-5.15 Tooting Bec Athletics Track

 

Athletics Club is open to students from all year groups. Athletics club takes place at Tooting Bec Athletics Track and students are transported their and back by school minibus. The club is run in conjunction with Herne Hill Harriers Athletics Club and lead by Ivor Northey who is a level 4 athletics coach . 

Basketball Club, Wednesdays 3.30-4.30 Garratt Park School hall/astro

 

Basketball Club is open to students from all year groups. Students practice skills and take part in competitive games with their peers. Students must bring their school PE kit and trainers for Basketball Club. 

 

Table Tennis Club, Thursdays 3.30-4.30 Garratt Park School Hall

 

​Table Tennis Club is open to students from all year groups. The club is coached by Annie Higham, a table tennis coach from China. Annie regularly coaches athletes who compete at the youth games finals and she has competed at an elite level. Annie focuses on individual students techniques during sessions and students are able to complete against their peers.
